Sitting Firm is a UK manufacturer of solid hardwood furniture, using hand crafted techniques and finishes. We make a variety of furniture including rocking chairs for children, dining tables and chairs and other dining room furniture at our workshops in Coventry, West Midlands. Sitting Firm made a name making Windsor chairs in ash and now make a wide range of traditional and contemporary dining tables and chairs in oak, elm, ash, maple, cherry and other sustainable hardwoods.

The solid craftsmanship of our traditional tables, including farmhouse tables, refectory tables, extending tables and pedestal tables, made in a range of sizes and wood finishes to suit individual tastes. These are complemented with coffee tables and lamp tables and a range of cabinet furniture which includes desks, bureaus, cupboards, sideboards and rocking chairs.

The contemporary ranges are designed and made in modern styles and materials including a combination of light and dark oak, maple and steamed beech. Tables, chairs, sideboards and cabinets made in matching hardwoods and quality finishes complete the range.
