Meri-bodging

Based in the heart of England 10 fellow designers will once again take an adventure out of the studio and into the workshops. This time to the wonderful world of SittingFirm where modern technology can be found, this time to aid in designing and making more intricate & modern designs for the Windsor chair, but still based upon the traditions of old.

Between the 9th & 11th June these designers will be placed with a team of specialists in the SittingFirm workshops, learning techniques and craftsmanship that SittingFirm are proud to own.

With collaboration with SittingFirm the 10 chairs created within this time will go head to head with each other with the wining chair design being placed into production and marketed by SittingFirm and with the possibility of even being launched later this year at various design shows.
